This was my first project using JUST BZY Peach yarn! And as a plant based yarn lover, it was truly magical!!! I love all of her yarns and colors, but I also LOVED trying Tencel for the first time!!!

Tencel is shiny and glorious! I much prefer it to silk, and it is one of those unique yarns that can only come from a plant! Earth is magic!!!

Crochet Foundry must now enter the chat!!! I have been working with CF for several years now, and the new issues have been so inspiring and wonderful! I am so proud to be a part of this lovely summer issue!

When Jessie Rayot (the owner and editor extraordinaire of Crochet Foundry) puts together a magazine, she really makes it fun! If you haven't already, go grab the July issue! There is everything from coloring pages, to interviews, to socially conscious collaborations! Each issue seems to get better than the last!

Here is what I wrote about my inspiration behind the design:

"Jellyfish are unique in the animal world with their weirdly plant-like movements and their strange locomotion! If you, like me, are fascinated by the magical underwater world, then dive into these glorious crochet earrings and bring the ocean’s magic to your accessories! Created using puff stitches as the base and a mixture of techniques using simple stitches to draw the texture out, these earrings bring magic and nature right up close and personal!"

I think one of the most exciting things about this pattern was that most of my testers used BZY Peach yarn too! Their earring and charms are stunning, and I had such a great time hanging out with them during the testing period!!!
