Here are some quick insights into the features of this pattern:

1: The drape of the fabric is on par with a wool scarf. This matters to me because I’m allergic to wool, but I looooooove the feel of a gorgeous drapy scarf!!!

2: Easy peasy, Lemon Squeezy! Which come to think of if would have been a great name for the scarf too!!! This is a project you can curl up on the couch with. Grab your favorite project bag or basket for the yarn and just relax into a show while you create the easy to remember repeats!

3: The color blocking keeps it interesting and makes a gorgeous statement piece! Textures and colors are CLEARLY a winning combo here. I chose 3 dark colors and one bright to make the fabric pop, and keep me excited to add more rows!

4: Spring-time wardrobe winning, and you will be finished in plenty of time! Despite the drape, this is not a heavy scarf. This is meant to keep you cozy when the spring breeze is getting a little frisky. But won’t weigh you down or make you feel stifled.

Let’s talk about the YARN!!!

I used Lion Brand Jeans yarn which is what gives this scarf its elevated feel. The yarn is perfectly soft against your skin and works amazingly well in this pattern! They come in 8 different colors, including 2 bright and 6 muted tones.

I highly recommend a few other yarns as well! Lion Brand 24/7 cotton (they have a gorgeous selection of colors that would work amazingly well with this scarf!), Touch of Alpaca, Heartland, and I REALLY want someone to make this in Feels Like Butta …That is going to be cozy squared.

Let’s get to it!

Joining Method:

Mattress Stitch: MS

Slide your tapestry needle into one stitch of the first side of the fabric you are attaching, then move to the opposite side and slide your needle through one stitch directly across from it. Continue to alternate these two steps until each side is fully attached. Pull the yarn taught to bring the sides of the fabric together. Clip yarn, secure and weave in.

This pattern is a 1-row repeat that uses seamless color changes and a simple edging to make a cozy and yummy infinity scarf you will want to wear all the time!
